Outstation Urbania Hire from Bangalore
Weekend escapes and long hauls out of Bengaluru, charged on a minimum of 300 km per day with allowances listed separately.
Outstation work from Bengaluru splits between the weekend escapes and the long hauls, and they want different planning. The escapes — Coorg, Chikmagalur, Sakleshpur, Nandi Hills, Bandipur — are short enough that the driving is not the problem and the timing is. Leaving on a Friday evening with everyone else defeats the object; leaving before dawn on Saturday gets you there in half the time and gives you the day. We will say this every time we are asked, and we are aware it is not what people want to hear.
The long hauls are a different discipline. Goa, Pune, Shirdi, Hampi and the Deccan runs are genuinely multi-day, and they cross state lines, which means interstate commercial permits obtained before dispatch rather than negotiated at a checkpost. The permit cost is charged at actuals and appears on your bill with the receipt. What matters more than the money is the time: a group that has not budgeted for border formalities on a tight itinerary will lose that hour somewhere less convenient.
The daily minimum of 300 kilometres is worth understanding before you compare quotes. A two-day trip to Coorg covers around 500 kilometres of actual driving against a 600-kilometre minimum, so you are paying for a little more than you run. That is how a vehicle and chauffeur committed to you for two days get paid, and it is why very short outstation trips are poor value as round trips. For a single overnight within about 150 kilometres, ask us to price it as two one-way drops instead and compare honestly.
Driver batta is a separate thousand rupees a day, with a late-night batta of the same amount where the vehicle runs between ten at night and six in the morning. On a ghat itinerary we plan the driver's day as carefully as the route: someone who has driven Bengaluru to Chikmagalur and then up to Mullayanagiri has done a long day on demanding roads, and starting them at five the next morning for a full sightseeing schedule is how mistakes happen on a hairpin. If your plan needs that, we will propose a second chauffeur rather than agree to it quietly.
